Basic SSH Instructions
You are welcome to use any secure shell (SSH) program that supports SSH protocol version 2 to connect to the ClaimLynx Medicare terminal access server. Simply point your client to dde.claimlynx.com on port 22022 with the username and password assigned by the ClaimLynx staff. If you already have an account for file transfer, it is likely the same username and password you already have.
Once connected, important system messages wiill be displayed along with your product selection menu. Credentials for Medicare applications are managed and issued by CMS, not ClaimLynx, we simply provide connectivity to the CMS systems.
kiTTY - BETA TESTING
ClaimLynx has developed a simpler application than PuTTY to connect to CMS via the secure ClaimLynx network. Please note that this is currently in a beta-testing stage, and minor bugs or issues may be present. The advantage of kiTTY is that it requires no configuration, and is completely maintained by ClaimLynx staff.
